NVIDIA OpenShell

NVIDIA OpenShell registers MCP servers per sandbox, via a policy applied at sandbox-create time—there's no persistent user config to edit. Desktop bundles the policy; apply it when creating a sandbox:

openshell sandbox create --policy policies/cosmonic-desktop-mcp.yaml <name>

What OpenShell can do once connected

The full tool surface—observe, deploy, and build—is covered in Connect Coding Agents, along with the guardrails that hold no matter who's driving. For OpenShell, Desktop bundles a sandbox policy template rather than a skill (not a SKILL.md): install it from the first-run offer or Settings → Agent skills and it lands at ~/.openshell/cosmonic/ for you to review and apply. See agent skills.
