Job Description​

We seek an experienced Senior or Staff Technical Writer who can demystify complex technical concepts with clarity, infused with a serious yet fun tone. You will be pivotal in documenting our pioneering products and services, making them accessible to a broad audience.

Key Responsibilities​

  • Develop, maintain, and plan new content from scratch, including comprehensive documentation like user guides, API references, and tutorials.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to gain an in-depth understanding of product details and document new features.
  • Convert technical jargon into clear, engaging, and precise content.
  • Uphold consistency and quality of content across documentation platforms.
  • Envision and execute strategies to introduce WebAssembly to a wide audience of developers.

Basic Qualifications​

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical writing, ideally in the technology or software industry.
  • Demonstrated experience writing about cloud technologies.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, able to adapt to Cosmonic’s voice—serious yet fun.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to independently plan and develop new content.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Rust, Go, Python, Java is a plus.
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Bonus Skills​

  • Demonstrated experience writing about Kubernetes, containers, or related cloud technologies.
  • Understanding of WebAssembly and its applications.
  • Experience with content creation beyond writing, such as short-form video/editing, content marketing platforms, etc.
